Throughout the entire Baked Potato administration, and no matter just how laughable and embarrassing the United States have conducted themselves over the last decade, I\u2019ve always maintained that I still had faith in my country.\u00a0 I know patriotism seems kind of lame, but I do think it\u2019s important to be proud of one\u2019s home, and no matter how much America has tested my resolve, I\u2019ve never been one to denounce it, because I live here, and I do think it\u2019s a place capable of greatness.<\/span><\/p>\n

But I just can\u2019t do it anymore.\u00a0 America sucks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are a sad country full of the majority of the worst humans on the planet.\u00a0 Corrupt all the way to the core of the groups of people entrusted to run the country responsibly and with the best interests of the people, and not themselves.\u00a0 Corporations, investors and the wealthy run the country, and it\u2019s a disgusting circle-jerk of millionaires and billionaires protecting and padding their own interests at the expense of everyone else, and because it\u2019s the people up top doing it, they literally cannot be policed or stopped.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A population that lacks rudimentary education and is incapable of free will and independent thinking and are so easily swayed and influenced by fake information on the social media platforms that are their greatest stimuli.\u00a0 A risk-averse nation fueled by fear and hatred, where everyone hates each other because they can\u2019t agree on things instead of trying to communicate and understand one another.<\/span><\/p>\n

I saw something on the internet where an American reached out to people outside of America to learn of what the perception of America is on the outside, and predictably it was a laugh track of people from other countries talking about how sad and pathetic we are.\u00a0 We\u2019re a first-world country that\u2019s performing like a third-world country, and how dangerous it is that we\u2019ve become a third-world country that still thinks they\u2019re first-world.\u00a0 But one thing hit the hardest; a remark about how America was the Florida of the entire world.\u00a0 Definitely wince-worthy, but not at all inaccurate.<\/span><\/p>\n

We suck right now, and there doesn\u2019t look like there\u2019s much hope that it\u2019s ever going to get better any time soon.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
