It\u2019s been a while since I\u2019ve done one of these but obviously, it\u2019s the same old song and dance that I just don\u2019t have the time.\u00a0 Honestly I feel like if I ever wanted to do one of these every day, I\u2019m sure I could find a story absurd enough to warrant a post.\u00a0 But there are days like today where the story came to me for a change of pace, and upon seeing it, I knew it was inevitable that I had to write about it:<\/span><\/p>\n Deadly shooting occurs at a Subway; over too much mayonnaise being put on a sandwich<\/a>.\u00a0 I really can\u2019t make this shit up, even if I tried.\u00a0 But to expound on the unfortunate situation, basically a Subway employee put too much mayo on a customer\u2019s sandwich, they became irate, and then words began being exchanged, and the next thing you know, they\u2019re opening fire into the restaurant and killing the employee.\u00a0 The manager on duty promptly returns fire because of course they\u2019re packing too, and the whole thing ends with the shooter arrested, an employee dead, with the employee\u2019s sister who also worked there, also shot and in critical condition.<\/span><\/p>\n Also, the 5-year old kid of one of the women struck was there and watched their mom get shot.<\/span><\/p>\n Typically, these kinds of posts are dripping in sarcasm and are more of a you\u2019ve got to be kidding me in an ironically judgmental funny way, and I\u2019ll be honest that this is how I felt when I started writing about it.\u00a0 But honestly, it\u2019s nothing really funny about it is as much as it\u2019s just fucked up and sad that there are people out there that genuinely felt that the best course of action to resolve the dissatisfaction at getting too much mayo on their fucking Subway sandwich is to pull out a gun and start shooting like Yosemite Sam.<\/span><\/p>\n I know this particular Subway, and where it is, and it is very much not in a particularly good part of town.\u00a0 It\u2019s riding a line where everything east of it is touched by the magic gentrification fairy, and are in a period of where there are people hoping to cash in on rising property values and get paid, but on the west side of the thoroughfare is basically still the Jurassic Park of ghettos.\u00a0 So it\u2019s not really any surprise that this kind of incident happened at this part of town, but it\u2019s still tragic and fucked up that there\u2019s literally a person dead over mayonnaise on a sandwich.<\/span><\/p>\n Guess all that\u2019s really left for me to say is that I\u2019m sure glad I don\u2019t work or really have any business being in the city proper anymore, because I\u2019d sure hate to get in the crossfire of any sort of altercation over shitty fast food.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" It\u2019s been a while since I\u2019ve done one of these but obviously, it\u2019s the same old song and dance that I just don\u2019t have the time.\u00a0 Honestly I feel like if I ever wanted to do one of these every day, I\u2019m sure I could find a story absurd enough to warrant a post.\u00a0 But … Continue reading Oh, Atlanta #577<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[112,45,56,143,68,49],"class_list":["post-48818","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-brog","tag-crime","tag-fail","tag-food","tag-ohatlanta","tag-tragedy","tag-wtf"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/totfc.net\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/48818","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/totfc.net\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/totfc.net\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/totfc.net\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/totfc.net\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=48818"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"http:\/\/totfc.net\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/48818\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":48820,"href":"http:\/\/totfc.net\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/48818\/revisions\/48820"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/totfc.net\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=48818"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/totfc.net\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=48818"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/totfc.net\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=48818"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
