Long story short<\/a>: Korean woman makes transaction with CVS, CVS enters her name as \u201cChing Chong,\u201d woman sues CVS for $1M dollars.<\/span><\/p>\n No seriously, why can\u2019t something like this happen to me?\u00a0 I would love to make an easy $1M on something so foolish and silly.\u00a0 If I went to CVS, and this happened to me, and I busted them right on the spot, I would be laughing myself to tears at seeing Ching Chong written on the receipt.\u00a0 I would laugh for\u00a0at least<\/em>\u00a0three straight minutes, and try to gauge the reaction of the people behind the counter, the perpetrator likely amongst them.<\/span><\/p>\n And then with an amused smile on my face, I would simply ask them if they\u2019d ever been sued, and regardless of what the answer would be, I\u2019d simply retort \u201cwell you\u2019re about to be!<\/em>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I\u2019m not sure how the legal system works, and if I have to give a dramatic justification like \u201cdamages,\u201d or \u201csevere distress\u201d to why I\u2019m suing CVS for a million dollars, but if I didn\u2019t, I seriously would consider the reasoning to be along the lines of \u201cteach them a lesson lol.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Would I be damaged or distressed about getting called Ching Chong in writing? \u00a0Hell no, but it doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s right to begin with.\u00a0 Sure, there\u2019s all sorts of moral dilemma on a long enough time line in that I\u2019d believe that a million dollars to me is only hurting a company as a conglomerate, and not individuals, or the Robin Hood-like fantasy that I\u2019m taking bonuses from the rich corporate CEOs, and giving to the poor me, and that the reality is that a million to me probably means the layoffs of many lesser employees on the food chain, but honestly, I\u2019d rather look out for myself in this case.<\/span><\/p>\n I wonder if it\u2019s possibly to specifically sue just CVS\u2019s upper management, and get in writing that there would be no repercussion towards the lower-tier employee base post monetary punishment?\u00a0 Now that would be just desserts, as well as one hell of a story to have in my life.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Long story short: Korean woman makes transaction with CVS, CVS enters her name as \u201cChing Chong,\u201d woman sues CVS for $1M dollars.
