I once saw a\u00a0meme image<\/a>\u00a0that stated \u201cyour shirt says UFC but your body says KFC.<\/em>\u201d\u00a0 Bahahahaha.<\/span><\/p>\n

I laughed about it heartily.<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s a guy at my gym that is an obvious\u00a0resolutioner<\/a>, and I\u2019m pretty perceptive and good at recognizing people at places that I go regularly.\u00a0 To this resolutioner\u2019s credit, he has been coming at least once a week for the last three now, but that is still no indication that he might vanish come February, but the thing is, that there are two things that I noticed about this guy:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. 100% of his \u201cworking out\u201d is spent in cable crossovers.\u00a0 Whether anything that can be done with cables, he\u2019s doing with cables.\u00a0 Sometimes he\u2019ll jump up and grab the cross beam and try to do some pull ups, but literally 100% of his time in the gym is spent amidst the cables.\u00a0 Naturally, no leg workouts occur here, either.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. He always wears this pair of TAPOUT shorts.\u00a0 Sometimes in conjunction with a TAPOUT shirt.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Recently, I was doing deadlifts, and I was near the cables.\u00a0 While unracking my weights, TAPOUT was naturally on one of his numerous rest periods, where he was naturally on his phone.\u00a0 Seriously, I really need to know what provider everyone else in my gym has, because I sure as shit can\u2019t get any data movement on mine through Sprint while I\u2019m at the gym.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The thing is, TAPOUT is kind of a rotund guy.\u00a0 I mean, good for him for taking up the resolution to get in shape, and I\u2019ll admit that he probably used to be a gym goer in the past, because not everything he does looks like it\u2019s full of shit, but clearly let himself go.\u00a0 Like, he developed too severe of an affinity for takeout food.\u00a0 And then the meme popped into my head.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Your shirt says TAPOUT, but your body says TAKEOUT<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Internally, I laughed about it, because I sometimes think I\u2019m the greatest comedian in the world, and I\u2019ll laugh at my own jokes more than Jimmy Fallon laughs at his.\u00a0 But then I realized that this could not just be a meme, because it was a golden opportunity to do one thing that I love to do: butcher and parody logos.<\/span><\/p>\n

    So when the smoke cleared and the dust settled, and about ten minutes in Illustrator, and what we have is a logo appropriate to accompany my meme that I\u2019ll take credit for, even if others have stated it on the internet before I have.<\/span><\/p>\n

    This is where I\u2019d say that I\u2019d love to slap this bad boy onto a t-shirt and try and make money off the parody, but let\u2019s be real here, I simply don\u2019t have the drive or ambition to do it, and there\u2019s always the possibility that if it gained any steam, the wrong people would see it, and I\u2019d get my ass sued or something.\u00a0 So let\u2019s hope someone with more drive and means to defy copyrights will do it instead, so that I can bitch about having made the logo first somewhere down the line.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
