Shaming, in general is not a good thing.\u00a0 Fat shaming, skinny shaming, slut shaming, handicap shaming; shaming in general is a behavior that\u2019s pretty much frowned upon, globally speaking.\u00a0 I mean, I\u2019m not going to pretend like within the comforts of close friends and confidants, I won\u2019t say some utterly crass and horrible things that probably succeed in shaming someone out there, in the pursuit of laughs and joking around, but when the day is over, I too would say that I frown upon shaming as a serious practice, overall.<\/span><\/p>\n But what if there\u2019s a group of people that absolutely\u00a0must<\/em>\u00a0be shamed?\u00a0 A group that (hopefully)\u00a0everyone<\/em>\u00a0can agree that, need to be called out in some capacity, to try and rectify their shameful tendency(ies) to begin with?\u00a0 Would it really be considered shaming if everyone agrees that they should be shamed?<\/span><\/p>\n People who don\u2019t flush toilets.\u00a0 People who don\u2019t wash their hands.<\/span><\/p>\n Now I obviously can\u2019t speak for women\u2019s restroom etiquette, but I\u2019d wager that there are plenty of gals out there that can think of a person or persons off the top of their head that they have mentally earmarked as being a perpetual person who indulges in some less-than-acceptable sanitary practices.<\/span><\/p>\n I\u2019m talking about the shaming of slobs.\u00a0\u00a0Slob Shaming<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n It\u2019s not even so much because we as people disagree with the lifestyles of slobs, when it comes down to it, there\u2019s a very legitimate health concern called fucking germs, that the practices of slobs compromise for other, cleaner individuals out there.\u00a0 It\u2019s not a question of\u00a0should<\/em>\u00a0slob shaming be acceptable, but\u00a0why the fuck isn\u2019t everyone shaming slobs??<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n The impetus for this rant is that I saw this slob in the men\u2019s room waddle out of a toilet stall.\u00a0 Naturally, as all men do in the men\u2019s room, we avoided eye contact at all costs, but I\u2019m not going to pretend like I didn\u2019t notice him in my peripheral vision.\u00a0 I walked over to a urinal and immediately recoiled, due to the fact that the previous user of said urinal failed to flush it.\u00a0 So I moved onto the next one, and conducted my business.<\/span><\/p>\n However, during this time, I noticed, or rather didn\u2019t notice one thing: the customary sound of a sink being used, and the mechanical whirr of a paper towel dispenser, before the sound of the door opening and shutting, of the guy that passed me seconds ago who used one of the toilets.<\/span><\/p>\n He didn\u2019t wash his hands after using the toilet.<\/span><\/p>\n HE MUST BE SHAMED.<\/span><\/p>\n The person who didn\u2019t flush the urinal?\u00a0 HE MUST BE SHAMED TOO.<\/span><\/p>\n I certainly hope that I wouldn\u2019t be subject to any opposition by these two declarations, nor for any in the future.\u00a0 I mean really, it\u2019s fucking gross that there are people that don\u2019t wash their hands and\/or flush the god damn toilets they use.\u00a0 Not only is it gross, these people are now spreading filth and germs in their neglectful habits, and compromising the cleanliness of everyone around them.<\/span><\/p>\n THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR SHOULD BE SHAMED.<\/span><\/p>\n As if I couldn\u2019t possibly have given any more thought to the things that go on in a men\u2019s room, I actually did think of how to publicly shame slobs.\u00a0 Namely, a hypothetical restroom\u00a0OF THE FUTURE<\/a>, that basically is equipped with a series of motion sensors and cameras, meant to SHAME those who fail to flush the toilet and\/or wash their god damn hands.<\/span><\/p>\n Basically, in front of a urinal, at a hypothetical height that would ensure accurate photographic capture of a man\u2019s face, and not his junk, a photo is taken when a man stands in front to conduct his business, activated by motion sensor.\u00a0 WHEN THE TOILET IS FLUSHED, the photo is immediately deleted, and this person has no need for concern about being publicly shamed.<\/span><\/p>\n UNLESS THEY DON\u2019T WASH THEIR HANDS.\u00a0 By the sinks will be more motion sensors and cameras, and only by correct usage of the sink and towel dispensers, will those subsequent photos be deleted, giving proper, sanitary people no concern about being shamed.<\/span><\/p>\n Now for slobs who require the conditioning of being publicly shamed, failure to flush the toilet and\/or wash their hands, will have the bathroom\u2019s photo queue of un-deleted photos, posted to a high-definition, 1080p screen outside of the restroom, so that everyone, men and women can take a good look at the people who are slobs.<\/span><\/p>\n Simply put, if you don\u2019t want to be branded as a filth-spreading SLOB, then fucking flush the toilet and wash your fucking hands.\u00a0 Problem solved.<\/span><\/p>\n A form of shaming that hopefully everyone can agree upon.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
