Long story short<\/a>: Gawker Media prepares for lawsuit that could very well take down the entire media conglomerate.\u00a0 Their opponent?\u00a0\u00a0Hulk Hogan<\/strong>, who is suing them for publishing a supercut of a Hulk Hogan sex tape and refusing to take it down.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hogan v. Gawker<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Man, this story just writes itself.\u00a0 This is already better than Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s no secret that I don\u2019t really care much for Gawker, or their network of sites, despite the fact that I admit to looking at stuff on Kotaku, Deadspin and Jalopnik every now and then; let\u2019s be real here, they\u2019re for the most part work-safe, and their network of writers are somewhat efficient at finding interesting stories to give little credit to the original sources.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

But the fact of the matter is that I really couldn\u2019t give two shits if the entire Gawker network comes crumbling down,\u00a0especially<\/em>if it\u2019s at the hands of none other than fucking\u00a0HULK HOGAN<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 I mean really, NOBODY fucks with Hulk Hogan, and should expect to get away with it, and Gawker should be no exception.\u00a0 They knew what they were doing when they both published the sex-tape supercut as well as refused to take it down, and now they\u2019re having to pay the consequences; going one-on-one with The Immortal One himself, but in the court of law.<\/span><\/p>\n

This whole story just makes me feel giddy with excitement.\u00a0 Of all the celebrities, athletes, media figures and anyone of any note, wealth or influence that has had their names ridiculed, slandered or vilified on a Gawker site,\u00a0Hulk Hogan<\/em>\u00a0is the one that is not backing down, not settling, and willing to bring the fight all the way, to them.\u00a0 If anything at all, WWE should be firing up the Be A Star campaign with\u00a0nitrous<\/a>\u00a0and be riding Hulk Hogan\u2019s coattails all the way to the courthouse, boasting rhetoric about how the WWE and Hulk Hogan refuse to tolerate bullying.<\/span><\/p>\n

I mean, it\u2019s pretty obvious who I want to win this train wreck.\u00a0 I loved Hogan v. Andre, Hogan v. Slaughter, and even Hogan v. Rock was pretty good, but damn would it really be fist-pump worthy to see Hogan come out victorious against a smarmy blogging conglomerate like Gawker.<\/span><\/p>\n

The best part is that there\u2019s even some optimism that Hogan might actually win the jury trial, since it\u2019s set to take place in Hogan\u2019s backyard in Florida; and everyone knows just how backwater and crooked Florida is, and how 90% of the country\u2019s demented stories come from them, so why not add the story of how a legendary pro-wrestler takes down a snarky gossip website conglomerate?<\/span><\/p>\n

Anyway, here\u2019s hoping for one more victory for the Hulkster.\u00a0 It might not be the greatest victory of his noteworthy life, but a win of this magnitude well past the age of 60 would most certainly go to show that Hulkamania truly does, live forever.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
