font-size: 12pt;\">If you\u2019re a wrestling nerd like me, you\u2019ll find it quite challenging to accomplish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lora; font-size: 12pt;\">But anyway, what miraculously brought X-Pac to recent light is this story that came out about the alleged wrongly-accused suspect from Netflix\u2019s\u00a0<em>Making A Murderer<\/em>.\u00a0 Now I actually haven\u2019t seen this yet, but much like\u00a0<em>House of Cards<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Master of None<\/em>, I have a high amount of faith in Netflix\u2019s programming, so I am interested in watching it when I have the capacity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lora; font-size: 12pt;\">Supposedly, Brendan Dassey, the subject of the show, and the allegedly falsely-accused who is incarcerated, also happens to be a big professional wrestling fan (which clearly bodes well for all wrestling fans not wanting to be associated with potential murderers).\u00a0 Aside from the trauma of being allegedly falsely-accused and allegedly being the fall guy for other, more allegedly guilty parties, one of Brendan\u2019s anxieties include the fact that he is going to miss the next\u00a0<em>Wrestlemania<\/em>, due to, well, imprisonment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lora; font-size: 12pt;\">To help alleviate the latter anxiety, Dassey\u2019s half-brother decided that he was going to try and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cagesideseats.com\/wwe\/2016\/1\/14\/10772632\/making-a-murderer-brendan-dassey-wwe-\">reach out to the wrestling universe<\/a>, to see if any wrestlers would be gracious and willing enough to visit Brendan in prison.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lora; font-size: 12pt;\">So far, no word from marquee guys like John Cena, Roman Reigns or Dean Ambrose.\u00a0 No word from the undercard either, from guys like Heath Slater, Curtis Axel or the Ascension.\u00a0 Even the retired Hall of Famers with nothing to do like Ricky Steamboat or Mick Foley have failed to heed the call.\u00a0 Booker T, who is both retired as well as someone with actual jail time served in his life, has remained silent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lora; font-size: 12pt;\">But one former wrestler, has heard of this plight, and has thrown his name into the hat to try and help a depressed youth behind bars:\u00a0<strong>X-Pac<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lora; font-size: 12pt;\">I thought the headline was that they were looking for \u201ca star?\u201d\u00a0 SNAP.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lora; font-size: 12pt;\">Joking aside, this is a fairly nice gesture by X-Pac, even if he is kind of bottom of the barrel that sits next to the barrel of names that the Dasseys were probably hoping to hear from.\u00a0 This is the part where I\u2019d typically say that there could be worse guys to have answered the call, but I\u2019m actually having a difficult time of thinking of one.\u00a0 I mean, Adam Rose looks like the walking embodiment of a sexually transmitted disease, but at least he\u2019s on the active roster, even if he is a jobber.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lora; font-size: 12pt;\">But at least if X-Pac does manage to be allowed to be visited, I can imagine that there are a few interesting questions to ask and stories to hear from X-Pac, like Kliq stories, prod him about his relationship with Chyna, post-HHH, and asking him what wrestlers from his active days were cool guys and which ones were shitheads.\u00a0 Or, I\u2019d like to ask him how he feels about the phrase \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/tvtropes.org\/pmwiki\/pmwiki.php\/Main\/XPacHeat\">X-Pac Heat<\/a>,\u201d because I\u2019d bet he\u2019s astutely aware that it exists.\u00a0 Probably more interesting stuff to hear than from a guy like Adam Rose, now that I think about it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lora; font-size: 12pt;\">Anyway, good on X-Pac for making a noble gesture, even if it kind of wafts of a guy trying to remain relevant and get his name out there for snarky nerd broggers like me to write out his name and put it on the internet again.\u00a0 And shame on the rest of the WWE Universe for sitting on their hands and remaining mum, and guys on the TNA roster sure have blown a chance at getting some easy Netflix publicity from this as well.\u00a0 All of it, jobbed to, of all people, X-Pac.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lora;
