Long story short<\/a>: people protested in front of Smyrna city hall over the decision to promote a police officer, who had shot and killed a man who attempted to evade a warrant arrest by stealing a Maserati and driving at police.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seriously, why are protesters so stupid? They\u2019re clamoring for \u201cjustice\u201d for a guy that stole a car and tried to run over some cops. In the cops\u2019 case it was kill, or be killed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The funny thing is that the people protesting all seem to have this idea that the cop was promoted solely as a reward for killing a black guy; it\u2019s like they have no understanding of promotion schedules, tenure, and a record of commendations that could lead to a promotion. Not really a \u201chey, good job shooting that colored fella, have a promotion!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

But anyway, these protesters were on a mission:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe here to shut Smyrna down. We going to boycott Cumberland Mall. We are going to make sure black people don\u2019t spend no money in Smyrna or Marietta\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In unrelated news, popular opinion on Smyrna and Marietta have grown considerably. Cumberland Mall now predicted to be the premiere mall in the Metro Atlanta area.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yeah, I\u2019d really love to see every single black person try to not support Smyrna and Marietta. I hope they enjoy driving to Kennesaw, East Point or Dunwoody to righteously spend their money alternatively.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s horrible! It\u2019s disrespectful. The fact that an officer is getting a promotion shows no type of respect for my family,\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

You know, at some point, even family members have to be able to take the rose-colored glasses off and assess that maybe your brother had it coming, when he hops into a stolen car and attempts to ram armed police officers. Otherwise, saying shit like this makes you look sociopathic and stupid.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anyway, everything about this whole story is pure stupid. I can\u2019t really put in to words just how stupid it all is, because my mind is fuzzy and I\u2019m just getting over a nasty bought of food poisoning, so we\u2019ll just leave it as is.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
