This is a concept that I\u2019ve thought in my head many times as being something that would be absolutely fascinating to watch, but it came back into the forefront again upon seeing the president of the United States basically turn his back on the United States while kowtowing to the president of the Russian<\/a> federation.\u00a0 Because this is one of those stories in which we the people will never hear the truth about until the people directly involved in it are on their deathbeds, and are more willing to disclose truths because they\u2019re on their way out anyway.<\/span><\/p>\n

And if this were a television show, I have no doubt in my mind that it would probably be the most compelling and fascinating show in history, hearing notable people throughout history spilling the beans on all sorts of undisclosed information, with no concerns for consequence or repercussions because they\u2019ll be dead soon anyway.<\/span><\/p>\n

From politicians to actors, athletes and other prominent figures, don\u2019t tell me that people aren\u2019t curious about the things that have happened in the lives of some of these people that they wouldn\u2019t be interested in hearing about.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why is Donald Trump so deferent to Vladimir Putin? Did Kobe Bryant actually rape that girl in Colorado? Did OJ Simpson do it? What did Bill Murray whisper to Scarlett Johansson in Lost in Translation<\/em>? Did Bill Cosby really drug and sexually assault all those women?<\/span><\/p>\n

These are only a few of likely thousands of questions that exist out there where the people involved know the answer, but nobody else does, and would probably be very intrigued to find out.\u00a0 Every time things happen in the news that lead to unsatisfying, ambiguous conclusions, I can\u2019t be the only one who thinks that something is fishy, and that someone\u2019s hiding the truth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Naturally due to self-preservation, all this juicy interesting information is eternally hidden, but why not create conditions to where people would want to disclose it?\u00a0 Maybe these are noteworthy people who want to clear their conscious before they kick the bucket.\u00a0 Maybe they\u2019re down on their luck and dying in obscurity or poverty and want the opportunity to get one last moment in the spotlight or a hefty payday for disclosing some fascinating stories on a television special.\u00a0 Who really knows, except it would be pretty incredible to create an environment where it would be possible to derive all sorts of incredible stories out of noteworthy people, whether or not they lived a life of being loved or infamy.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019d imagine a super fancy hospice, filled with opulence and luxuries.\u00a0 Those dying participants would get to live their remaining lives out in as much superficial comfort that can be provided.\u00a0 Legally, there would have to be some statute of limitations or some sorts of immunity for all this coming clean, although trickling down the repercussions of intel probably creates some potential avalanches elsewhere.\u00a0 Financially, I\u2019d imagine the benefactors of those dying would get some big incentives, which is probably the easiest card to pull from show runners in order to get people to participate.\u00a0 And to prevent crooks and swindlers from trying to game the system in order to milk some comfortable living, participants should be told that they\u2019d be euthanized or something shortly after their appearances.<\/span><\/p>\n

But tell me a show about people spilling all the beans on television wouldn\u2019t be fucking fascinating??\u00a0 There are so many stories and tales out there that are hidden behind locked doors, and if the keys to them could be acquired, imagine the sheer amounts of entertainment, amazement and mind-blowing information would be presented to the world?<\/span><\/p>\n

Naturally, this is the kind of show that could only be done by like FOX or HBO, but god damn would it be some absolutely can\u2019t-miss television if we could pull the curtains back to all the stories of the world people have been curious about for years, from a wide variety of people who lived them.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
