{"id":46734,"date":"2019-11-06T12:54:53","date_gmt":"2019-11-06T16:54:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/totfc.net\/?p=46734"},"modified":"2020-08-12T12:55:02","modified_gmt":"2020-08-12T16:55:02","slug":"wweshop-fail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/totfc.net\/?p=46734","title":{"rendered":"WWEShop fail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-46735\" src=\"http:\/\/totfc.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/bullshitblets.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"510\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/totfc.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/bullshitblets.jpg 510w, https:\/\/totfc.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/bullshitblets-300x165.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">In 2000, the WWE changed from the WWF to the WWE because the World Wildlife Fund out in Europe kept suing them over the acronym WWF, or something along those lines, I don\u2019t really care to cross-research the whole story in order to sound smart.\u00a0 Either way, the WWE ran this whole campaign for about a month afterward, where they showed all these bumpers about how the WWE was \u201cgetting the F out\u201d on a sophomoric play on words, but also literally, explaining that they were eliminating the F from the company\u2019s name effective immediately.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Well, if it were up to me, I\u2019d like to give the WWE their F back, mostly as it pertains to WWEShop.com, because their selection of replica title belts, fucking fails.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Despite the fact that the number of championship belts in my collection continues to grow and mythical wife continues to ask me how many more belts I need, there\u2019s one belt in particular that I would really like to get my hands on: an <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.vox-cdn.com\/thumbor\/Kdp-TtV8fu-okAZmsWg1rcr_zvM=\/1400x788\/filters:format(png)\/cdn.vox-cdn.com\/uploads\/chorus_asset\/file\/13622598\/NXTUKTagTeamTitles.png\">NXT UK Tag Team championship belt<\/a>.\u00a0 It\u2019s the one belt in all of NXT UK that I like the most, and it would kind of put a nice cap on my collection of NXT belts in general, as I have the NXT Championship, the NXT North American Championship, and the NXT UK Tag would represent the one tag title for the NXT brand outright.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">But for whatever reason, the WWE and WWEShop have yet to make the NXT UK Tag Team championship belt available in their shop of replica belts.\u00a0 As it stands right now, it is the only active championship belt in all of the WWE that they are not selling replicas of currently, and I don\u2019t really know why.\u00a0 The excuse of it being the newest belt doesn\u2019t apply anymore, since the WWE introduced the 24\/7 Championship, which once R-Truth isn\u2019t in the picture holds any importance, but WWEShop is sellin<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">g replicas of it already.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Every other single belt is available for sale as a replica otherwise.\u00a0 Even the really obscure ones like the <span style=\"text-decoration-line: line-through;\">WWE<\/span> NXT Cruiserweight Championship, to the lesser celebrated and exposed belts like the Women\u2019s Tag Team Championship and sadly, the Intercontinental Championship, literally every single belt circulating around in the WWE currently is on sale as a replica, except the NXT UK Tag belt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">I\u2019m even okay with the fact that the WWE is selling replicas of a number of classic and inactive belts, like the old winged eagle World Championship, the European Championship and even the Million Dollar Belt; frankly, I love the belts from the 90s, and the vast majority of my collection are all belts exclusively from the 90s decade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">But what makes my eyes roll and want to give the WWE their F back is the lineup of novelty belts and \u201ccommemorative\u201d belts that they sell, as obvious cash grabs and grasping at low-hanging fruit.\u00a0 There\u2019s something they call the \u201cShawn Michaels Heartbreak Kid Commemorative World Championship\u201d which is basically a classic winged eagle World Championship with a tacky, red and black tiger stripe strap.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">It\u2019s $500.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Then there\u2019s the Up Up Down Down championship belt to acknowledge Xavier Woods\u2019 YouTube channel.\u00a0 Technically in the WWE, this belt doesn\u2019t really exist, and is only in existence on Woods\u2019 YouTube videos, swapped back and forth between various wrestlers playing video games.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">This belt that isn\u2019t even a \u201creal belt\u201d in the WWE runs $379.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Next, we have a \u201cHollywood Hogan Commemorative nWo Championship\u201d replica that is basically the WCW World Championship plates affixed to a strap that has a bunch of tacky nWo 4-Lyfe and other shitty artwork symbolizing Hollywood Hogan, which is funny in itself, because WWEShop sells nice and clean replicas of the WCW World Championship, but also pre-spray painted versions of the same belt, and tries to sell them off as separate things.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">That\u2019s also $500 too.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The coup de grace though, is the \u201cUndertaker Limited Edition Legacy Title\u201d which is a completely originally designed belt to commemorate Mean Mark Calloway\u2019s legacy in the WWE.\u00a0 It\u2019s a completely original design, and there was a ton of effort put into it.\u00a0 But as much as I respect the Deadman and all his accomplishments in the professional wrestling industry, it\u2019s still a useless and pointless piece of merchandise that is 100% a cash grab and 0% a replica as it something that never existed, was never defended, and gives smarks no reason to want it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">By the way, it\u2019s $749, for a belt that doesn\u2019t and never counted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">In my browser, I keep a tab open to the WWEShop\u2019s replica title page, and I refresh it daily, hoping for the day when the number of available items jumps up by one.\u00a0 A few times in the past, it has jumped up, and I\u2019d excitedly scroll down and try to identify the new edition to the list.\u00a0 Once, it was actually something valid, like when the updated NXT Tag Team Championship became available.\u00a0 The other times, it was when the bullshit Hollywood Hogan belt and the Undertaker belts became available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">But then this past week, when I refreshed, the page went from 45 items to 46 items, and the excitement bug bit me all over again.\u00a0 After failing to find an NXT UK Tag Team Championship belt newly listed, I sought out what was the new thing in the room.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">It was the new \u201cBret \u2018the Hitman\u2019 Hart Commemorative World Championship\u201d belt.\u00a0 Which was surprise, a winged eagle World Championship\u2019s plates, affixed to a strap covered in pink and black bullshit design work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Try not to be surprised, but it\u2019s $500.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Have your F back, WWE.\u00a0 Which stands for Fuckin\u2019fail.\u00a0 Just sell me my NXT UK Tag Team Championship, and I\u2019ll finally be happy.\u00a0 I\u2019m legitimately just about out of room for more belts, so 16 might actually be the end of my collection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Unless I decide to reconfigure, or start a second wall.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In 2000, the WWE changed from the WWF to the WWE because the World Wildlife Fund out in Europe kept suing them over the acronym WWF, or something along those lines, I don\u2019t really care to cross-research the whole story in order to sound smart.\u00a0 Either way, the WWE ran this whole campaign for about &hellip;
