Egerer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"border-image alignleft wp-image-47520\" src=\"http:\/\/totfc.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IMG_1708.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"390\" srcset=\"https:\/\/totfc.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IMG_1708.jpg 769w, https:\/\/totfc.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IMG_1708-192x300.jpg 192w, https:\/\/totfc.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IMG_1708-656x1024.jpg 656w, https:\/\/totfc.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IMG_1708-768x1198.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/>When I was but a n00b to drinking, one of the very first things that I really took a liking to was wheat beers.\u00a0 Hefeweizens.\u00a0 It started with the hefeweizens at Ellis Island Casino in Las Vegas, one of my favorite places on the planet, and it didn\u2019t hurt that they were free, plentiful, and served by a super cougar of a waitress, as long as I was continuing to piss away cash at $5 blackjack or playing Mermaid\u2019s Gold penny slots.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Now by now I\u2019ve tried all sorts of other drinks, spirits and beers, but when the day is over, I\u2019m still fond of hefeweizens.\u00a0 Sours, hard seltzers, goses and other things can come and hold my attention for periods of time, but I\u2019ll always remember that some of my earliest loves were wheat beers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">When I pulled today\u2019s beer out of the fridge and saw this silhouette of a bear on it, for some reason I felt optimistic before I saw any text at all.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know why, but incorporating animals into the designs of things always curries my favor;
