Stop trying to make a horrific tragedy about yourselves. Don’t act like you would have given this a second thought if it weren’t Asiana Airlines. Get over yourselves and give your thoughts, prayers and general support to those impacted by this horrific instance, instead of trying to make this into something that it isn’t.

It’s not like the word “fright” isn’t an actual word, except that it is. And probably a pretty appropriate descriptor for what the people riding on flight 214 probably felt when their plane came crashing onto the tarmac.
Yes, “fright” is a play on words, but contextually it has nothing to do with mocking ESL Asians. Words like “Engrish” or in my case, “brog” are more deliberate about doing such.
The situation as a whole is terrible, yet has several silver lining stories amidst the tragedy, from far less casualties than would be associated with a plane crash, a Korean stewardess keeping her head in the midst of chaos, and people actually helping other people. The last thing that needs to be attached to this whole story is a bunch of attention-seeking third-party Asians getting infuriated over a tacky regional newspaper headline.
